Coding with Roblox: Game Development For Kids

  • Join us for an exciting and interactive journey into the world of game development with Roblox Studios! This course is specially designed for kids who love gaming and want to learn how to create their own games and experiences on the popular Roblox platform. Through hands-on projects, creative challenges, and engaging activities, young game enthusiasts will unlock their imaginations and acquire essential skills to bring their game ideas to life.

  • This course is tailored for kids in grades 4th - 6th who have an interest in gaming, creativity, and a desire to learn the exciting world of game development.

  • The course will be conducted over a duration of 12 weeks, with two 2-hour classes per week. Each class will run from 5:30 - 7:30pm.

  • The course consists of a series of hands-on modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of game development using Roblox Studios. Each module will include a mix of theoretical lessons, practical exercises, and project-based work.

Intro to Robotics: Foundations of Coding

The BBC micro:bit is a versatile and programmable microcontroller, and with MakeCode's visual programming language, kids will have a blast creating interactive projects and bringing their ideas to life!

  • This course is tailored for kids in grades 7th - 9th who have an interest in coding and engineering technology, and want to have fun learning robotics.

  • The course will be conducted over a duration of 12 weeks, with two 2-hour classes per week. Each class will run from 5:30 - 7:30pm.

  • The course consists of a series of hands-on modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of programming using the BBC micro:bit platform and Microsoft MakeCode. Each module will include a mix of theoretical lessons, practical exercises, and project-based work.
